Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Operate a motor grader for maintenance of gravel and dirt roads, ditching, possible snow removal, culvert and sign installation, other duties assigned by the Foreman or Council.
Inspect equipment before and after use; perform minor maintenance and report mechanical issues.
Grade roads to proper elevation and slope as directed.
Work independently or as part of a crew on municipal projects.
Assist with other equipment operation or manual labor duties as required.
Shop and yard maintenance
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum [25] years of experience operating a motor grader (municipal or construction experience preferred).
Valid Saskatchewan driverss license.
Familiarity with municipal road maintenance best practices.
Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, council, office staff and ratepayers.
