Living Skies Housing Authority (LSHA) is hiring a full time Payroll Clerk to join their Finance and Business Operations team. The position can be located at a Living Skies Office in Regina, Weyburn or Yorkton. The position reports to the Accounting & Payroll Manager for direction and supervision and follows established procedures to process payroll for multiple Housing Authorities in the Saskatchewan housing network.
What You Will Do:
Provide front line payroll support to stakeholders
Ensure regulatory requirement are met
Complete benefit remittances and general ledger transactions related to payroll
Track employee leaves including salary continuance, long term disability, WCB, garnishments, etc.
Maintain digital employee payroll and personnel files
What you will need:
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or the equivalent
One (1) to three (3) years of experience within the payroll field
Proficiency in a computerized environment and the MicroSoft suite of products; JD Edwards experience is an asset
Proven knowledge of payroll principles and practices
Superior attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
Ability to maintain confidentiality, work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
Ability to work within established processes, independently and harmoniously with team members, often with minimal guidance and direction.
