Description

Intention of the Outreach Counsellor
    Provide assessment & intervention/counselling with individuals who have been impacted by interpersonal violence, sexual assault and  trauma using a trauma-informed lens.
    Ensure the provision of culturally-safe and evidence based best-practices that are consistent with the vision, mission and core values established by SWCS.
    Provide supportive and/or clinical counselling services by utilizing a variety of modalities.
    Collaborate with the Outreach Team members to meet the needs of target groups.
    Support SWCS in varying capacities as necessary.
    Provide individual, family and group counseling interventions; serving the residents of the residential transition house & community-based caseload.
