Description

Description: Work as part of the Nicklen Siding Grain Elevator team to assist in operations across the site. Utilize your talents and learn new skills while working as a part of our team. Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4:30pm with some weekend work possible.

Responsibilities & Requirements
Excellent communication skills (face to face and radio)
Attention to detail and ability to carry out instructions
Accurately completing necessary documentation
Capable of working with others as a team
Assist with general duties within the facility
Yard work, cutting grass, trimming, and overall yard maintenance and cleaning
Assist with other general duties within the facility, including but not limited to sweeping, shoveling and other general housekeeping duties
Ability to perform work safely and productively
Comply with company safety policies and procedures
Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and policies
Other duties and responsibilities as required

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:
Physically able to climb up and down railcars/ladders safely, walk up and down steps, and work at heights
Willing to work outside in inclement weather
Able to work in an environment with high dust levels  
Can lift, push, pull at least fifty (50) pounds
In good physical condition (able to walk one (1) to two (2) miles per shift)
Must have the ability to work safely, communicate well, and perform in a team environment

Qualifications
Read, write, and understand English
Basic math skills
Computer skills (light data entry)
Valid Drivers License
Must successfully complete pre-employment checks
Must be 18 years of age.
