Position Summary
This position is primarily responsible for Carmichael Outreachs corporate sponsorship and fundraising, with a focus on cultivating and securing new sponsorship.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Proactively identify, research, and secure new corporate sponsorship opportunities aligned with Carmichael Outreachs mission
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, donors
Develop and present sponsorship packages and sales pitches to attract corporate sponsorship
Maintain a structured sponsorship sales pipeline, including tracking leads, scheduling follow-ups, and preparing regular progress reports
Coordinate and oversee all fundraising campaigns, events, and associated logistics from start to finish
Ensure timely and meaningful donor recognition, including thank-you letters, acknowledgment cards, and impact updates in accordance with the donor matrix
Track and report on fundraising and sponsorship metrics to evaluate performance and inform strategy
Represent Carmichael Outreach at corporate events, business meetings, and networking functions to increase visibility and attract new support
Support the implementation of signed grant activities and related fundraising deliverables
Qualifications and Requirements
Post-secondary education; or relevant experience will be considered
Demonstrated experience in organizing fundraising initiatives
Strong financial literacy and the ability to manage budgets, reporting, and donor tracking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling grant proposals and donor correspondence
Experience working in a non-profit or charitable organization is considered an asset
Proven ability to develop and maintain donor and sponsor relationships
Experience in sales, sponsorship acquisition, or partnership development
Skilled in persuasive communication and confident public speaking
