This position reports to the Manager of Settlement and Family Services and the Settlement Team Leader. The role of this position is to support vulnerable GAR clients with multiple barriers and needs (i.e., learning difficulties and disabilities, mental health, and physical impairments) where Case Workers cannot address the needs. The position will provide direct support and promptly connect clients with the appropriate support services by offering a coordinated, integrated, and multidisciplinary team approach. The service will also utilize a solution-focused, client and family-centered, culturally sensitive, and holistic approach to address the needs.
The annual salary for this position is $54,440.59($31.02 per hour)
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work and work experience in a related field is a requirement. Additional requirements include excellent communication, para-professional counselling, cross-cultural, leadership, motivational, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will possess the skills necessary to develop the program and work cooperatively and professionally as a representative of RODS in the community. The successful applicant will also require a criminal and vulnerable record check, a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driver's abstract.
