PWM Hydraulics is a hydraulic cylinder manufacturer. We are looking for a permanent full-time Industrial Design Technologist for continuous improvement at our Yorkton, Saskatchewan location.  If you have a background in industrial manufacturing and hydraulics this would be an asset to our company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
-Creating designs of CNC and welding operations jigs and fixtures.
-Developing improvement concepts on CNC/CAD/CAM and robot programming.
-Developing manuals and guidelines on every working process.
-Developing automation improvements and leading new projects.
-Developing and creating improvements in CNC machines and robots' efficiency.
-Developing and creating tool room and inventory control.
-Establishing product needs by communicating with the client, engineers, and/or manufacturing experts.
-Maintaining cooperative and productive team relationships
-Attending training and meetings as required

Preference will be given to individuals that show a positive demeanor, a mechanical aptitude and must have industrial design and improvement experience. Expertise in Hydraulic Cylinders, Fluid Power and or Fluid Conveyance business segments would be a bonus.

Successful applicants must have:
-Knowledge of using computers;
-Understand quality control and quality control documentation;
-Conscious and adhere to safe work practices;
-Team player and self motivated;
-Multi-task and good time management skill;
-Good communication skills;
-Must live in Canada and have permission to work in Canada.
-Previous work experience with Robotic assisted manufacturing;
-Previous work experience with ISO quality control environment
