The Moose Jaw Multicultural Council is seeking a dynamic individual to facilitate an employment program for newcomers to Canada. The program assists clients in obtaining employment by providing guidance in resume creation, interview skills, setting goals, essential skills, employer expectations, employment terminology, and facilitating and maintaining connections with employers in Moose Jaw and Area.

The successful candidate will help to facilitate employment workshops, meet one-on-one with clients to assist with resume creation, develop interview and job search skills, develop relationships and network with area employers, accumulate knowledge of the labour market and promote newcomers to Canada as a valuable labour resource.

We are seeking an individual who is reliable, patient, self-motivated and will demonstrate a positive role model. Experience working in the settlement and immigration sector is a definite asset.

The successful candidate will have post-secondary education or equivalent knowledge & experience in the employment counseling field. The candidate must have a reliable vehicle, class 5 drivers license (no restrictions) for this position and a clear criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
