Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensure the Pharmacy section of the Food Store is well-stocked for our guests.
    Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to guests while ordering, receiving, warehousing, stocking, and rotating merchandise in the Pharmacy Department.
    Create and build product displays, ensuring proper fronting of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy
    maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing sales area and warehouse/receiving area and perform other tasks as required in an efficient manner.
    Unpack, check, and prepare merchandise for sale.
    Order merchandise.
    Stay up to date on back orders and out of stock items.
    Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work area.
    Provide front end customer service as per required.
    Pharmacy Assistance duties as assigned
    Prescription preparation
    Answer phone calls and refilling prescription
    Drug order management (placing, receiving and putting away medication order)
    Helping patients with prescriptions pick up
    Handling Till/Cash in the pharmacy  working the till.

QUALIFICATIONS:

    Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 25 pounds; lift boxes up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
    Required to be on ones feet for an extended period of time.
    Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience is considered an asset.
    Must have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and very good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, and management.
    Ability to work as a team player and to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
    Good organizational skills.
    Computer skills are required, experience with Kroll or other pharmacy software is considered an asset.
