Description

The incumbent will possess a minimum two years field experience in a NCSO or Safety role. Experience in a safety role regarding heavy equipment operation, highway and road building work is also an asset. A valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract is required.

This position is located at a Northern Saskatchewan mine site.  The rotation is 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.  Applicants must be pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and complete the required training prior to going to site.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
    Conduct all new hire and safety orientations for the designated site
    Ensure training is completed and employees have equipment and resources to fulfill job requirements
    Maintain all site safety records
    Enforcement of company policies and procedures
    Investigate incidents and complete incident reports
    Assist with Safety program auditing
    Perform site audits
    Ability to travel and stay at field work locations
    All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
