Prairie Co-op is hiring a Full Time Health and Safety Advisor. This position will be based out of Melville or Fort Qu'Appelle, SK.

What youll do:
Collaborate with HR and develop policies, procedures, and manuals as it re-lates to Asset Protection and Health and Safety.
Ensuring that all company policies, local, provincial, and federal laws are adhered to in the execution of all internal and external investigations or in-quires
Overseeing the administration of the company Occupational Health & Safety program.
Work collaboratively with Senior Leadership Team and Department Managers to ensure all objectives relating to Asset Protection and Health and Safety are clearly communicated and executed.
Effectively and efficiently managing the development and building of relationships along with ensuring the integration of strategic plans with company operations both in the short and long term.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Health, Safety, Security & Environment and Sustainability and:
You have an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate and/or Commerce or Business Degree
Any of the following designations:
o Loss Prevention Designation (CPP, CFI, CFE, LPQ, or LPC)
o Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
o Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC)
You have 6+ years of relevant, related experience; retail experience would be an asset (A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
