Job Description: The EMT will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT will cover standby assignment, as operations require.

Education
- Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)
Licenses
- Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards)
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)

- Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call

- Davidson is located approximately 114 km south of Saskatoon
- Employer will endeavour to ensure on-call does not exceed 300 hours in 3 weeks
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
- Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
Additional Comment
- No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 weeks period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
