Description

1 position available split between Riverside Public School and Carlton Comprehensive Public High School.  Temporary full-time for the 2025-2026 school year (August 28, 2025 to June 24, 2026).

6.5 hours per day/32.5 hours per week

Certified Rate: $33.59 per hour; Uncertified Rate:  $31.52 per hour.  Rates may change once new CUPE Local 4195 Agreement is in effect.

Requirements:
- Preference will be given to individuals with at least one year of related post-secondary education in Occupational Therapy Assistant or equivalent from a recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education.
- Experience in the implementation of communication programming with students of varying ages and developmental levels.
- Completion of professional development in the area of speech-language development and communication programming would be and asset.
- Post-secondary training related to child development would be an asset.
- Knowledge of student behaviour management and co-regulation strategies.
