Description

NorSask Forest Products LP is searching for a Janitor/Custodian that will be responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition, and will perform heavy cleaning and disinfecting duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, cleaning and disinfecting high traffic areas and surfaces, and removing debris.

Areas of focus: Guard Shack, Mechanic Shop, Welding Shop, Warehouse, Sawmill, Planer, and Debarker Space.

Hours: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday

Job Duties:
Performs general clean-up of mill site facilities in areas of focus

Sweep, mops floors, dump garbage and recycle bins, perform all cleaning and disinfecting aspects of high traffic areas, restrooms, lunchroom as well as washing and disinfecting handrails, door handles, supervisor offices.

Contacts appropriate area supervisors regarding maintenance and minor repairs.

Plan and prioritize work for self.

Determine needed supplies and equipment.

Work Conditions:
Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, hearing protection (PPE)

Hazards associated with the trade  cleaning chemicals, industrial area environment

Work both indoors and outdoors

Will be exposed to production mill.
