The City of Warman is seeking to fill the full-time position of Director of Finance.  

Reporting directly to the City Manager, the Director of Finance oversees the daily operations of the Citys expenditure and revenue departments, ensuring alignment with municipal policies, procedures and guidelines. The Director of Finance is responsible for preparing draft financial statements and financial reports in compliance with the Public Sector Accounting Board (PSAB), as well as developing and updating financial and accounting policies and procedures as necessary.
A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A recognized accounting designation would be an asset.  
A minimum of five years of related experience in finance and administration including financial accounting, budget management, audit principals, practises and preparation. Experience in municipal government finance is recommended.
