Join Our Team as an Early Childhood Educator!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact working in an Early Education Center? Were looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as an Early Childhood Educator to support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children 6-weeks to 12 years in a nurturing and inclusive environment. You'll work closely with the supervisor and program team to provide project-based learning and developmentally appropriate activities, following the Centre's curriculum and policies as well as provincial legislation.

Qualifications

Education and Professional Certification
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ECE III equivalency.

Experience
* Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children 6-weeks to 12 years old.

Skills and Characteristics
* Collaborative team player.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Effective leadership through motivation, role modeling, and support.
* Outgoing personality with diverse interests to engage children (e.g., outdoors, arts, sports).
* Strong communication skills.
* Familiarity with Child Care Regulations and Ministry of Education guidelines.
* Emotional competence and self-awareness.
* Empathy, patience, and understanding in daily interactions.
* Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Goal-oriented with the ability to achieve both personal and program objectives.
* Adaptable to new situations.
* Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
* Basic computer skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services
* Develop and implement daily activities based on EELC programming, balancing educator-led and child-directed approaches.
