Description

We are seeking a Temporary Term, Director of Pharmacy who will lead the team towards excellence in primary care, primary prevention, chronic disease management and addiction medicine. The Director of Pharmacy is accountable for the efficient, effective provision of pharmaceutical care services at both Community Clinic locations, to Community Clinic clients and members by planning, organizing, directing and controlling the departments physical, financial and human resources in accordance with departmental and Community Clinic mission, vision, policies and procedures.

The Director is a participating member of the senior management team and other clinic management committees. The Directors acts as the Pharmacy Manager and Privacy Officer at the Community Clinic pharmacy downtown location and is a direct service provider. The Director oversees all pharmacy all pharmacy staff at both sites, including
the Manager at the Westside Community Clinic pharmacy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Science in Pharmacy (B.S.P.)

Registration with Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists

Must carry malpractice insurance.

Must have knowledge of and compatibility with the philosophy and policies of the Community Health
Services (Saskatoon) Association Ltd. (CHSA).

Good oral, written and communication skills.

Previous managerial experience preferred.

Computer knowledge/skills an asset.

Able to work independently as well as work as a team member.

Able to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills and attitude.
