The Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division (SRPSD) invites applications for the position of Superintendent of Facilities with duties to commence September 1, 2025, or an agreed upon date.
Saskatchewan Rivers is a blend of rural and urban education, with 32 schools located in the City of Prince Albert and surrounding communities. The school division serves nearly 9000 students with 1400 employees and an annual operating budget of approximately $100 million.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Education and serve as an integral member of the administrative council team. This position plays a critical leadership role within the school division and administrative council and works closely with the Board of Education, school division staff, provincial ministries and all taxing authorities within the Division.
This role involves leading a skilled facilities team and ensuring that all school division properties are safe, well-maintained, and aligned with the divisions long-term strategic objectives. The successful candidate will manage both major and minor capital construction projects, while also overseeing ongoing responsibilities with caretaking, facilities planning, operations, maintenance, renovations, energy management, safety, and occupational health.
The Superintendent of Facilities oversees the divisions facilities budget, plays a key role in shaping the three-year capital plan, and provides strategic leadership in planning, team development, and continuous improvement. This position calls for an individual who can cultivate a collaborative team environment, build strong relationships, and continuously assess and enhance facility practices to support the evolving needs of students and staff.
