Outback Oasis is a construction firm with lean management and minimal administrative overhead. The Project Coordinator must be able to work hands-on across remote, rugged job sites in rural Saskatchewan. An extensive self-directed multi-hat broad project coordination in isolated rural areas, including subcontractors, budgets, scheduling, material procurement, contracts, general trades (e.g., framing, concrete, cladding, millwork) supervision, coordination across building scopes, or field mobilization. Build and manage ICI vertical construction projects without layers of support staff. Able to lead multidisciplinary construction sites in small crews. Full site execution authority should have strong field decision-making, trade issue resolution, or logistical responses. Candidates will be given preference for hands-on coordination under local codes or labor conditions.
The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial, commercial, or institutional construction and a civil engineering diploma.
Other Duties:-
Plan and organize daily operations.
Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
Hire & Supervise the activities of subcontractors
Plan & Prepare construction schedules, milestones & monitor progress
Prepare contracts & negotiate revisions, and make changes to contracts
Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
Read blueprints, schemas, and drawings
Plan and manage budgets
Direct, negotiate, and purchase building materials
Transport material and tools to work sites
Prepare risk management plans and reports
Develop quality management and quality assurance standards
Supervise drawing preparations, specifications, and other construction documents to be used by subcontractors
No strict language requirements, but able to read and give instructions in English.
