Description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Pharmasave #406 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:
-- Training & Mentorship: Coordinate pharmacy assistants, including scheduling, coaching, and training.
-- Patient Adherence: Drive enrollment in adherence programs; organize and submit orders to central fill.
-- Pharmacy Optimization: Promote best practices and support tech/process implementation for workflow efficiency.
-- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory, including controlled substances, ensuring proper storage and records.
-- Insurance & Billing: Handle complex order entry, resolve claims, and ensure accurate documentation.
--Community Engagement: Identify patients for programs, support outreach, and assist in talent recruitment.
-- Business Support: Apply advanced skills to support pharmacy operations and growth.
-- General Support: Assist the Store Operator, Pharmacy Manager, and Pharmacist as needed.


Qualifications:
-- 3 to 5 years of retail pharmacy assistant experience with basic business knowledge.
-- Committed to a long-term pharmacy career with Neighbourly Pharmacy.
-- Proven accuracy in order entry and proactive customer service.
-- Proficient in Kroll or similar software, with the ability to coach others.
-- Experience with advanced skills (e.g., compounding, automation, compliance packaging, OAT).
-- Strong judgment, decision-making skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with teams.
-- Respected, positive presence in the dispensary.
-- Criminal Record Check required.
