Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Construction & Installations Carpenter/Labourer at our Homes by Lake Country Co-op site in Prince Albert, SK.

Reporting to the Director, Home and Building Supplies responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Assist skilled trades persons in performing construction activities at residential, commercial, and agricultural construction sites.
Load and unload materials, move materials to work areas.
Assist with erecting and dismantling of forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, and barricades.
Operate and maintain various power tools; tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors, and pumps.
Remove rubble and other debris at job sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

You can lift, load, carry and hold products  extensive physical labour typical of residential and commercial construction site is required.
You have knowledge of methods, tools and equipment used in carpentry.
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends.
You are available for intermittent day travel and intermittent overnight travel.
