As our go-to payroll expert, you'll play a vital role in maintaining trust across the organization - making sure our people are supported, and our processes run smoothly and compliantly
What You'll Own
Weekly Payroll Processing
- Manage weekly payroll from start to finish-accurately and on time, every time.
- Validate time records and fix any discrepancies before processing.
- Apply earnings, deductions, benefits, and taxes correctly.
Data, Compliance & Reporting
- Keep payroll and employee records accurate and up to date (onboarding, promotions, departures, etc.)
- Stay ahead of provincial and federal regulations - think tax remittances, T4s, ROEs, and more
- Create regular reports to help leadership understand payroll trends and support audits as needed
People-First Support
- Be a go-to for questions about pay, benefits, and deductions-clear answers and zero jargon.
- Help teammates understand their payroll info and how it all works.
What You Bring
Education & Credentials
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, HR, or Business.
- PCP designation (or actively working toward it) is a big plus!
Experience
- 2-3 years of hands-on payroll experience (weekly cycles preferred).
- Solid skills with systems like ADP, Ceridian, or Payworks - and you know your way around Excel (yes, pivot tables count!).

- Spotting small errors before they become big problems.
- Staying organized under tight weekly deadlines
- Communicating clearly and respectfully, even when things get technical
