Description

Executive Director, Financial and Property Management

The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environments Corporate Services and Policy Division has an exciting senior leadership opportunity as the Executive Director of the Financial and Property Management Branch. We are seeking a results-oriented visionary to provide leadership and direction for the delivery of a diverse range of financial, administrative and management services.

The ideal candidate will be a demonstrated leader who aligns personal vision and values with corporate goals and objectives, and who listens and influences others to generate enthusiasm and commitment to the organizations direction. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership abilities combined with a sound knowledge of financial management practices, public policy and government operations, including budgetary and legislative processes. The ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships with stakeholders is essential.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership styles that focus on inclusion, excellence, accountability and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, while leading staff in multiple locations. This leader will have a proven track record in driving corporate and strategic initiatives, be recognized as innovative, a change agent and a true influencer to achieve success at the team, ministry and government level.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

The knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through completing a degree in business and/or accounting or public administration or related financial discipline and government experience. A Chartered Professional Accountant designation would be considered an asset.
