The Aboriginal Friendship Centres of Saskatchewan (AFCS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to oversee the Member Engagement portfolio. This position plays a vital role in supporting the strategic priorities of AFCS and our 11 Member Friendship Centres by ensuring effective administration of core funding contributions, strong accountability, and collaborative capacity-building efforts that strengthen urban Indigenous service delivery across Saskatchewan.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight: Manage the planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of all UPIP-funded initiatives in alignment with contribution agreement requirements.
Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with Member Friendship Centres, supporting them with funding-related questions, capacity-building efforts, governance best practices, and financial compliance.
Governance Support: Provide mentorship and guidance to Centres in strengthening organizational governance, strategic planning, and policy implementation.
Reporting & Evaluation: Collect and analyze data to monitor outcomes, generate high-quality narrative and financial reports, and support continuous improvement across programs.
Financial Accountability: Monitor budgets, expenditures, and compliance under UPIP agreements, and support Centres in understanding their financial obligations.
Engagement: Travel throughout Saskatchewan to meet with Member Centres, support organizational needs, conduct site visits, and foster ongoing collaboration.
