As a key member of the Community Engagement team, the Administrative Assistant, Community Engagement will provide support to the Co-operatives provincial community pillars: Our AccessNow Community Programming Channels; the Access Communications Childrens Fund registered charity; and Corporate Initiatives including sponsorships, events, and scholarships.
Community Programming
Serve as the primary contact for phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
Record and distribute departmental meeting minutes.
Assist with scheduling and reporting for TV programming.
Update AccessNow TV website content regularly.
Process department invoicing and purchase orders.
Childrens Fund
Support board and committee meetings.
Coordinate and track all funding applications.
Maintain the Allocations Database and charitable documentation.
Assist with TV Bingo coordination.
Corporate Initiatives
Provide administrative support for a variety of corporate projects.
Maintain records and support database management and reporting.
Prepare correspondence and information packages for meetings.
Produce customized reports using tools like Excel, Word, Adobe, and internal databases.
Qualifications:
A minimum grade 12 and Administrative training.
A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Must possess strong typing and communication skills.
Experience in the maintenance of websites.
A sound working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.
