Description

SREDA's purpose is to advance the Saskatoon Region economy by driving purposeful business growth. We do this by helping entrepreneurs start and expand their businesses, attracting new businesses to the Saskatoon Region, encouraging local business growth, and providing insight into the local economy.

SREDA is seeking a highly motivated individual to assume the role of Specialist, Business Development. Under the direction of the Manager, Business Development, this individual will assist in the promotion and coordination of key strategic programs and initiatives to drive local business growth, retention and collaboration across the Saskatoon Region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support SREDAs business growth and incentive programs through the identification and engagement of qualified companies ready to scale their operations within the Saskatoon Region.
- Assist with the creation and execution of targeted outreach strategies, including direct engagement, networking, presentations and promotional initiatives.
- Assist with the development and delivery of support and resources to existing local businesses to encourage growth and retention.
- Coordinate and facilitate program events, workshops, and mentorship activities.
- Understand and remain current with recent business trends (regional, national and global), regulations and local ecosystem needs to support market expansion strategies and opportunity and risk identification.
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, government partners and corporate leaders to foster economic growth.
- Track program metrics, gather participant feedback and assist in the preparation of reports to measure program success.
- Assist with meeting coordination, budgeting and documentation related to program initiatives.
