Communicable Disease Public Health Nursing Consultant

As a member of the Population Health Branch, you will work with a team of professionals responsible for providing consultation, technical expertise, provincial policy development, performance monitoring and coordination related to public health and communicable disease prevention and control.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Saskatchewan Health Authority and federal colleagues to strengthen provincial communicable disease policies, guidelines, education and awareness.
The successful candidate will have or be eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association (SRNA) and possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, with course credits in Public Health Nursing, complemented by a minimum of 3 years of experience working in public health nursing. Public health nursing experience must include working specifically in disease prevention and control. A sound understanding of public health and population health theories and methods is required.
