The Ministry of Advanced Education is responsible for developing a skilled and educated workforce that meets the needs of Saskatchewan's labour market. The ministry works with the private sector, educational institutions and community organizations to develop, retain and attract skilled workers. We also work with educational institutions to recruit and retain international students and assist Indigenous learners.
The Business Systems and Information Management (BSIM) branch is seeking a Business Analyst to identify needs, analyze opportunities and recommend solutions. You will develop requirements in this role and ensure that ministry systems meet established standards. The successful candidate will provide analytical, operational, and testing support for system modifications, enhancements, and new programs. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate with Advanced Education business management and system users, team members, system staff, user support, and external partners to achieve successful project outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong educational background, relevant needs-based financial aid knowledge, and key skills in business analysis, change management, and group facilitation. This combination of qualifications and experience will enable them to excel in a Business Analyst role and contribute to student success.
