Job Title: Customer Care Coordinator and Shift Supervisor

Position:  Full Time

Starting Date: Immediately

Have you always had a desire to help people and animals? Prairie Animal Health Centre is looking for our next team member. The front desk of a veterinary clinic is fast paced and both rewarding and stressful.

Everyone in a veterinary team plays an important role.  The primary role of customer care is to provide a professional and welcoming environment by greeting clients, directing telephone and client inquiries, following admission and discharge procedures for patients, ensuring clinic efficiency through proper scheduling.  This position will also provide shift supervision for other customer care team members, veterinary assistants and kennel attendants when the practice manager is unavailable.  

Job Specifications: Above all else must have customer service experience and excellent people skills. Patience, empathy, positive, courteous and professional with a strong desire to provide the ultimate experience for our patients and their families. The ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a variety of different work conditions is required. A successful applicant will have excellent computer and communication skills, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and previous experience with animals. Preference will be given to applicants with their VOA certification. Our clinic uses an app and many forms of social media and electronic communications to update and educate our clients, willingness to learn will be a key asset for success.
