The Executive Director leads the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre (EEYFRC), ensuring it fulfills its vision and mission through early learning, family wellness, caregiver education, and referrals. The Executive Director oversees administration, programming, partnerships, and family engagement while guiding the organization's strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration: Set facility hours, manage staff schedules, establish policies, and oversee HR functions. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements, and support the Board with strategic planning and budgeting.
Programming: Oversee early learning and family support initiatives, creating a welcoming, play-based environment that fosters parent-child engagement and child development.
Partnerships: Build relationships with community agencies, secure funding through grants and fundraising, and promote the EEYFRC through public engagement.
Family Engagement: Ensure EEYFRC is an inclusive space for families. Actively engage with parents and caregivers, provide referrals, and gather feedback to enhance services.
Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education preferred, plus 1-3 years of leadership experience.
Grant writing and fundraising experience beneficial.
Strong communication, budgeting, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Valid Class 5 drivers license, CPR-C/First Aid certification, and a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check required.
