Description

The Meadow Lake and Area Early Childhood Services requires an Early Childhood Consultant to work in a therapeutic home visiting program. Serving communities in North West Saskatchewan including, but not limited to, La Loche, Buffalo Narrows, Ile a la Crosse, Beauval, Dillon, Turnor Lake, BNDN, BRDN, CLCFN, CRDN, and ERFN.  

Consultants will assist families with children from birth to 6 years of age who may have, or develop, a disability. By providing regular home visits, Consultants provide information, resources, support, and opportunities to assist caregivers in meeting the needs of their child. The Early Childhood Intervention Program has a strong connection to providing positive outcomes for parents and children alike.

Qualifications:
-Minimum Certificate in Early Childhood or other related Diploma or Degree in Human Services field
-Willing to look at a combination of education and work experience
-Experience working with special needs children and their families is an asset
-Ability to work cooperatively with other agencies and professionals
-Valid driver's license
-Valid CRC with a Vulnerable Sector Check
