Description

The Structural / Civil Designer serves as a subject matter expert and design lead responsible for developing and supporting structural designs for KSPC, collaborating with Engineering, Production, and Project teams to create detailed design solutions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support project execution. This role manages third-party design resources, overseeing external contractors and consultants to ensure alignment with company standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines. -Diploma or technical program in CAD/CAM Engineering Technology, Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, or a related field.
-10+ years of progressive experience in structural/civil design in heavy industrial or mining environments (potash preferred).
-Advanced knowledge of Canadian building codes (NBC, CSA S16, A23.3) and structural detailing standards.
-Proficiency in AVEVA E3D, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and related modeling software.
-Experience reviewing and managing deliverables from EPCs, consultants, or third-party design service providers.
-Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead design reviews, influence external stakeholders, and uphold owner engineering interests.


Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPCs pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol testing.
