The Role
As a member of the technical services team, you will report to the senior project manager, technical products. You will be part of the direct hands-on execution of the capital equipment program across our Saskatchewan northern sites ensuring that company goals and business objectives are achieved according to Stakeholder requirements. Capital equipment projects are in various stages, ranging from concept/framing through to implementation in line with the life of mine equipment cycles. We are looking for a strong and dynamic individual to ensure all aspects of mobile equipment project planning and execution meets the established requirements with respect to budget, schedule, scope, quality, health, safety, and environment. It is essential that this individual has the self-motivation to work efficiency, productivity and in compliance with Cameco and industry standards. You will manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, identify and secure resources, report on project status to management, facilitate solutions, manage project risk, and promote a culture consistent with Cameco values.
In this role, you will:
-Be responsible for managing the planning, execution, and delivery of capital mobile equipment projects, from initiation through execution and closeout.
-Coordinate cross-functional teams, liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
-Oversee procurement and logistics and ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.
-Monitor project performance, manage risks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment lifecycle management strategies.
-Regularly update weekly project status and cost reports, ensuring accurate end up to date information for project stakeholders.
