If you are a reliable and dependable individual with a strong work ethic, and you are passionate about providing quality service, we want to hear from you. We are currently seeking two experienced Roofers to join our talented and passionate team in Yorkton on a permanent basis.  

Duties/Responsibilities

Constructing and assembling layers of roofing from insulation to all types of flat roofing membranes;
Install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings;
Install, repair, or replace single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions;
Work on new install, replacement of previously installed/damage, and repair of asphalt and other roofing systems;
Install sheet metal flashings; and
Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing safety standards and procedures and complying with company standards and industry regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

Completion of a trade certification program;
Minimum two years experience with working knowledge of a variety of roofing systems;
Demonstrate strong attention to detail;
Strong listening, time-management, and communication skills;
Ability to work effectively both independently and as an essential part of a team;
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods of time, and safely climb ladders, scaffolding and stairwells to work at heights;
Ability to work at heights for long hours;
Ability to lift and carry up to 45kg (100 lbs); and
Other duties as required.
