Description

The YMCA is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Philanthropy and Community Engagement Coordinator to lead and expand our fundraising and community outreach efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon an established donor base and existing relationships, while also developing new strategies and systems to grow our impact and reach within the community.

In this role, you will develop and manage fundraising strategies, donor tracking, and stewardship programs while creating and delivering initiatives to engage new donors and sponsors. You'll plan and coordinate events, collaborate with the marketing team on fundraising campaigns, and maintain accurate donor records. You'll represent the YMCA in the community, build relationships, and work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with program needs. Additionally, you will assist with marketing tasks, including content creation for newsletters, the website, and social media, and lead community engagement initiatives to strengthen the YMCAs presence and impact. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Marketing and Community Engagement.
