The Director of Product Support - Material Handling provides leadership and direction for Brandt's parts and service support functions. Responsible for leading a team of Regional Customer Support Sales Managers and growing Material Handling parts and service sales. As a leader of our team for Product Support Sales, the successful candidate must have a proven track record in sales management, be dedicated to outstanding customer service, be well organized, and capable of leading a highly motivated team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant combination of education and experience along with a proven track record in the material handling product support business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES
Sales Process
*Own overall Strategy and Annual Business plans with objectives to achieve sales and margin growth.
*Manage Sales Processes such as Call reporting, CRM, and target setting.
*Establish key KPIs for CSAs and measure on a regular basis.
*Analyze and implement proper coverage for the region.
*Engage and support in large Fleet accounts.
*Analyze Reports to provide insight and feedback to guide performance of CSAs and branches.
*Support in development of overall Parts and Service Sales strategy.
*Monitor CSA incentive program to ensure it is effective.
*Implement comprehensive succession plan for RCSSMs and CSAs.
*Identify and implement Best Practices across the Regions.
*Market Intelligence on competition, customers, and segment trends.
*Analyze sales and margin data to identify opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
*10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Industry
*Strong Leadership skills
*A drive to expand the knowledge base to fully understand corporate objectives.
*Ability to travel as needed (2 weeks per month)
