Reporting to the Kerry Vickar Center Coordinator/Facility Manager the successful candidates will possess the following abilities:
Be able to execute all types of events including the setup, take down and janitorial requirements.
Have a basic understanding of the building and the building equipment requirements. (Relating to IT and Sound systems)
Ability to undertake the regular maintenance for the facility and its grounds.
Ability to ensure facilities and equipment are maintained at a high standard of care to ensure the safety of the employees and public.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task and be detail oriented.
Have excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to resolve problems in customer service and satisfaction.
Ability to maintain an accurate record of equipment usage and duties performed.
To report immediately any problems of safety or maintenance nature which could affect the operation of facility.
Ability to understand and carry out tasks based on both verbal and written instructions, with minimal supervision.
Must adhere to all City of Melfort Policies and Procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 drivers license with abstract and a criminal background check
Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs and perform labor demanding tasks
