Description

The South Saskatchewan Ready Economic Agency Inc. (SSR), a non-profit corporation located in south central Saskatchewan, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) as an Administrative Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and circulate meeting minutes and relevant correspondence.
Track deadlines and assist with funding intake processes.
Maintain corporate financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
Prepare and process invoices, payments and receipts.
Reconcile bank statements.
Prepare financial statements and reports as required.
Assist in preparation for annual audits.
Manage and maintain SSRs social media platforms.
Create and schedule regular content that promotes SSRs mission, projects and events.
Prepare and distribute press releases and public statements.
Manage the SSR website including general updates, funding information and project details.
Coordinate and distribute the SSRs digital newsletter.
Prepare reports and updates for stakeholders, partners and funding agencies.
Monitor media coverage and maintain a database of media contacts.
Other administrative duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Required Qualifications
Well organized with strong administrative skills.
Experience with bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven experience managing social media and content marketing.
Knowledge of corporate procedures, policies, and guidelines.
Self-motivated and ability to adapt.
Ability to assess, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
Competence in web updates and email marketing.
Ability to work independently under the direction of the Managing Director.
