Apprentice Carpenter

We at Leeville Construction are currently looking for self-motivated Apprentice Carpenters to join our experienced team of builders. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated business, that has performed General Contracting for Moose Jaw and its surrounding area since 1981.

We are looking for applicants who are eager to: learn from our experienced carpenters, complete their Journeyperson certificate, overcome/problem solve daily challenges, and earn a livelihood by working hands on.

If you are interested in becoming an apprentice carpenter, we are willing to invest in the right candidates by signing them up for the apprenticeship program.

Experience with concrete forming, framing, metal cladding, door, frame, and hardware installation, and erection of construction specialties will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:
    Perform work safely.
    Assess, eliminate, and control potential hazards.
    Learn from and take instruction from senior staff.[
    Read, interpret, and execute construction based on drawings and specifications.
    Load/unload and sort tools, and materials.
    Clean and maintain job site/work area.


Requirements:
    Steel-toed safety boots.
    Valid drivers license.
    Ability to arrive on site and on time.
    Ability to lift and use materials of 50lbs.
    Good manual dexterity.
