SaskExpress Musical Theatre Studio Saskatoon is a high quality performing arts studio that provides opportunities for students, age 3 to adult, to train in singing, dancing, and acting in a fun, creative, and inclusive environment.

We are currently looking for a high energy and enthusiastic individual to instruct and direct a youth musical. It is a weekly drama class that runs Saturday afternoon and starts September 2025. They will work in conjunction with a vocal director and choreographer to create the production. The show will be performed in June 2026. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and will be able to:

- develop and implement lesson plans that help students develop their acting skills through various exercises and drama games.
- teach the fundamentals of theatre performance while expanding students' imagination, creative expression, confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork skills.
- encourage students to understand characterization and create their own characters.

Contract length: 10 months
Pay: From $15.00 per hour but based on experience

Schedule: Saturday afternoons 1:00-2:30 pm
