PAHA is currently recruiting a full-time Tenant Services Officer (TSO). If you thrive on service delivery, have excellent problem solving and organizational skills, can multitask, thrive in a team environment, and have a desire to provide exceptional service to tenants in the community, this position will be of interest to you!
Reporting to the Tenant Relations Manager and as part of the Tenant Relations team, this front-line position will actively provide support and preventative services towards successful tenancies, responding to client crises and those in need.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Provide case management support as it relates to maintaining housing
Ensure tenant safety in emergency situations, securing intervention resources as needed
Lead tenant communication, ensuring tenants are aware of policies and conduct for a successful tenancy
Resolve tenant issues, addressing complaints and concerns before they escalate
Ability to manage stressful situations, problem solve, and manage conflict
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Exceptional communication and client relations skills with ability to maintain positive work relationships with community resources, staff and tenants
Qualifications:
Social work degree and proven case management experience working with diverse cultures
Knowledge of local community supports and resources
Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations such as the Residential Tenancies Act, Human Rights Act, Public Health legislation, etc.
Proven expertise using Microsoft Office, experience with JD Edwards preferred
A valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, and an approved Enhanced criminal record check is required upon hire.
