Brandt Industries Canada Ltd. is currently looking for reliable and experienced Machine Operators to start immediately at our manufacturing facilities in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Duties & Responsibilities
*Efficient operation of CNC cutting machines including plasma and laser as well as the operator related maintenance
*Responsible for the following machines and operations: punching, drilling, sawing, torching, and bender, roller threader, press, shear, punch press, hand and hand power tools
*Program simple cuts on the machines
*Efficiently operate and maintain plasma and laser cutting equipment
*Ensure production schedule for machine is adhered to
*Report any programming /software issues immediately to supervisor and/or programmer
*Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area up to Brandt standards

Required Skills:
*Must be able to read Shop Drawings and Production Orders
*Must be able to work in a steel fabrication and/or manufacturing shop environment
*Must be able to work independently
*Familiar with Quality and Lean Principles
*Motivated to learn and improve
*Positive attitude with excellent problem solving skills
*Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
*Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
*Thorough knowledge of all equipment in the machine department
