**Open to any IFCU advice centre location in SK**
The Estate Representative is the primary contact for all estate needs, working with deceased members' executors and families to provide accurate advice, consultation, and complete documentation with care and precision in alignment with policies and regulations.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
- Provide accurate information to all parties involved in the estate, answer inquiries from staff on estates, and trust situations; perform all meetings with executors and provide guidance and options.
- Oversee opening estate accounts (and changes that may occur) as well as statement and account reporting.
- Maintain estate accounts, bill payments, and distribution of funds once probate has been completed.
- Document registered plans and estates and process centralized transactions and forms.
- Ensure all appropriate documentation has been obtained for transfer of bonds, safety deposit boxes, payments of bills, and submitting insurance claims.
- Utilize digital solutions to create efficiencies, simplify members banking needs, and enhance the member experience.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years' experience in working with estates and/or retail relationship building; achievement of a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) designation would be an asset.
- Understanding of duties and functions of the estate process, including registered tax details/estate tax slips and administration.
- Empathy, compassion, and strong communication skills in handling difficult and delicate situations.
- Detail-oriented and risk aware, contributing to the safeguarding of our companys assets and reputation.
- Proficient in digital literacy, including (but not limited to) critical thinking, problem solving and navigation using digital solutions.
- Use and comfortability with a variety of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Teams, Viva, Power Automate, PowerBI).
