Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Quality Improvement, the Quality Improvement (QI) Specialist, supports strategy development and deployment across SHA (Saskatoon) and system-wide process improvement across SHA. They will provide a lead role in the organization and facilitation of key events and processes such as Hoshin Planning, Visual Management, Replication and Standard Work, Rapid Process Improvement events (RPIW's), Preparation, Planning, Process(3P) events, Kanban, the SHA 5S (creating a clean and well-organized workplace) campaign and Training Within Industry (TWI). The QI Specialist will be expected to shift responsibilities and accountabilities for core events as needed to meet the changing needs of the organization and satellite QIOs. This position will support the Quality Improvement team and as such must demonstrate through personal commitment support for the strategies, values, culture and beliefs of the SHA (Saskatoon) and the strategic and operating plans.
