Brandt Tractor Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager in our Saskatoon Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for maximizing the sales growth and profitability of the whole goods department.
Duties & Responsibilities
*Manage all aspects of the sales of Truck & Trailer equipment
*Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets
*Provide for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals
*Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers and employees.
*Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company.
*Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
*Assist in the management of Branch account receivables in conjunction with the VP of Credit and VP of Operations.
*Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
*7+ years direct work experience in a sales management capacity
*Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field considered an asset
*Experience in the heavy equipment industry considered an asset
*Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
*Confident in decision making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
*High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning
*Must be available to travel as needed
