Description

This position is expected to complete both glassware preparation and media preparation in the GMP laboratory.  This position is expected to solve basic problems within known methods and practices. The incumbent will include decontaminating, washing, preparing and sterilizing laboratory glassware and other laboratory equipment; package and sterilize general laboratory supplies; rotate and restock shelved items. Assist with the instruction and supervision of summer students; assist with training of personnel; disposing of biological waste; glassware; maintain records of equipment maintenance; assisting with the preparation of biological media for the diagnostic, teaching and research laboratories; daily data entry; assist with annual inventory; other duties as assigned.
