SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant is a program support position responsible for all clerical aspects of the Housing program. This includes answering phones, taking messages, and maintaining a daily itinerary for the staff. This position is supervised by Housing Manager with overall accountability to the Director of Lands and Infrastructure.
possess all office procedures, techniques and data processing. Minimum of a grade 12 and at least 1 year technical training in clerical field 1 year practical experience. Be able to type minimum of 40 wpm. Knowledge of First Nation Housing Program. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Able to meet deadlines and complete task efficiently. Submit to pre-employment drug screening prior to commencing work. Maintain tenant for CMHC and Band units. Assist in preparing RRAP/HASI. Working with contractors. Duties assisting Housing Manger and Director Of Land And Infrastructure may be required.
