Description

TLC Daycare is seeking candidates to temporarily fill the senior role of Director.

TLC Daycare is a licensed childcare facility and is open Monday - Friday, 7am-6pm.

We strive to create a centre that is rich in warmth and love, while continuing to emphasize cooperation and courtesy. We are currently looking to hire a qualified Director to manage all aspects of the daycare as well as strong leadership skills. The Director will manage the day-to-day operations while establishing and sustaining a positive learning environment for children. You should display a friendly demeanor, have a love for children and strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment for children, parents and staff.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement and maintain a high level of early childhood education programming
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations
- Provide leadership and support to staff
- Attend board meetings, deliver a Director's report and answer Board questions
- Administrative tasks

Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or completed Early Childhood Certification Level 3 or Level 2 with exemption (or equivalent)
- Experience in leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of child developmental and regulatory standards
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize workload
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid
- Valid driver's license
- Current clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector check (successful candidate)
