Director of Operations

Join a reputable not-for-profit human services Association with a mission to make a positive difference in our communities and the province of Saskatchewan!

In this newly created role, you will provide leadership and oversee the office operations including finance, administration, human resources, policies and programs.

As the ideal candidate, your operations experience will be supported by a leadership style of respect, maturity and commitment to equity and positive change.

Based in Regina, Sask and reporting to the Executive Director, you will:
- Support and collaborate with the Executive Director in creating annual budgets, planning and achieving strategic goals.
- Provide leadership in programs, finance, human resources, compliance and administration.  
- Deliver on the strategic goals while fostering a collaborative, inclusive and culturally responsive workplace.  
- Work with the Executive Director and bookkeeper to monitor budgets, support audits, and ensure grant compliance.  
- Coordinate service contracts, technology needs, utilities and office workspaces.

As the selected candidate you will bring:
- Relevant business or operations management experience with approx. 5+ years in a management/leadership capacity, ideally with a not-for-profit organization.  Experience in social justice is an asset.  
- Financial and budgeting experience  
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, CRM platforms.
- Positive, motivated personality and leadership skills; self-starter and adaptable.  
- Mature thinker with strong communications, planning and organizational skills. Trustworthy and is aligned with the vision, mission and goals of the Association.   Demonstrates kindness and respect.  

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours/day.   Full-time, fixed term 1 year funded in April of each year, with a good possibility of extension.
