Description

Reporting directly to the Office Manager this position provides reception support and clerical support for the Battle River Treaty 6 Health Centre Team following established procedures.

As the first point of contact, the optimal candidate will have exceptional customer service, attitude, and professionalism.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Certificate from a recognized business college combined with related work experience. Equivalencies will be considered.
* 2 years of experience in customer service or dealing with the public
* Ability to speak Cree is an asset.
* Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel) Publisher, and technological platforms such as Microsoft Teams, WebEx etc. with a general aptitude for expanding use of software applications to enhance efficiencies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage highly sensitive information and documents exercising confidentiality, discretion, good judgement, and exercising tact, courtesy, and diplomacy always.
* Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability to balance the changing needs of the organization.
* Above average organizational and communication skills; both written and verbal skills; are required.
* Previous working experience with First Nations people and demonstrate an understanding of the health and social issues encountered by First Nation people and a willingness to learn about and accept First Nations cultures.
* Ability to work in a team environment as an effective team player.
* Valid Class 5 drivers license.
* A successful criminal record check with vulnerable sector.
